Spring is a time for so many beautiful blooming trees, shrubs and perennials but one of my favorite has to be the Virginia Bluebell. They bloom early spring and prefer the shade. They get 2' at their tallest and look great in a woodland garden. I like to design them into a pachysandra bed, with the evergreen ground cover of the pachysandra, these blue flowers really stand out.
Now that all that beautiful snow has melted and your landscape is visible, it is not time to worry about the winter damage. It is time for spring and all the beauty that it brings. The crocus are peaking their heads out and the birds are chirping. Leave the restoration of your landscape to us, relax.
